Make, improve and innovate

The brain is smart and saver. Wants to spend less energy to achieve something, it will always seek to analyze and act effectively, practice routines through new strategies, learn, and over time create habits that we do without thinking.

The same thing happens in a company.

Imagine that you are in the jungle and need water. You hear it in the distance. With a knife, you begin to cut first the smaller branches and then the large ones (this is a strategy). Over time your ability to cut becomes natural. Doing something for the first time involves a learning curve, a lot of effort, and dedication. The important thing is to do, sometimes successfully and sometimes not, but always learn.

The path to the waterfall ends after doing so much, with the only thing left to do, is to improve it. To improve it, you have to question everything that it's done. It is the time of advances and achievements, and every day the benefits are less perceptible until we settle into a routine and our pride.

One day, someone questions the path you have always taken, forcing you to defend what you have been doing and improving for years. Your brain assures you that there is no way to INNOVATE, and your whole being will tell you not to move anything until you prevent any possibility.

Then comes the fool, the dreamer and stupid who tries. You criticize and discourage him because you DO NOT UNDERSTAND his ideas until one day, the water now reaches your house through a bamboo pipe that feeds from the top of the waterfall.

Your path is now obsolete because someone thought: not what he should be doing on your work nor how to do it better; he invented a new DIFFERENT way and did something that no one had ever done committed to his idea.

Do it, improve it and, or innovate!

Everything is complex and takes a lot of work, but the most difficult and perhaps the most necessary thing is always to try to innovate because it happens at the same time that everything goes on.

You need more resources, time, and work; But if you don't, someone will.
